Marketing Collaboration and Planning Platform

My main focus is to keep the platform stable and secure so customers may rely on our services with confidence. I tap into some system administration skills to assist with monitoring and troubleshooting within the platform while also assisting with design and the development of internal tools to keep our CI/CD workflow running smoothly. Maintaining our IaC, monitoring stacks, and diving more into software development has been a great learning experience.

Document Mangement Platform

Starting at NetDocuments I took on the task of automating deployments for engineering teams so they could focus on developing code. Over the years my role has evolved and I now also develop IaC for seamless scaling of private and public resources. Leveraging configuration management allows us keep those systems compliant and easily deployable anywhere. I helped to build a platform for our engineering staff to utilize in order to be more self-sufficient while remaining focused on quality and security.

Enterprise Administration and Hosting

Linux administration was my first role in the tech world. I started at the entry level position and quickly learned the skills necessary to support enterprise scale customers. I worked mainly within the private cloud space, but I was able to learn more about public cloud and helped support a variety of providers.

We All Start Somewhere

While still in academia, I advanced from an entry level position to a store management position. I maintained daily store operations such as: payroll and scheduling, inventory management, monetary duties and logistics of inventory shipments. Analyzed profit & loss reports to assist with improving local store profits which lead to district recognition.

Helping Others Follow Their Passion

While pursuing a Master’s degree, I was also working in the department to help foster a love of Physics for new students. I assisted in the design of physics curriculum and ran labs for the physics department. I also helped teach physics to entry level students in the evenings.

Computational Physics

During my studies in graduate school, I learned the importance of time. Not all experimentation can be funded, so how can I prove my case in order to get my project funded? Let’s model it! This is where my fascination with automation and using technology to solve problems sprouted.

I intended to get my degree and share my passion for learning. Striving to understand things at a fundamental level helped me to develop critical thinking skills and solve problems when the initial path forward may not have been clear.
